Gabriel Antonucci is the man that makes this all happen! He started working on farms when he was 5 years old, and has continued that passion to this day. He raised chickens in middle school, grew vegetables in high school, and milked goats through college. He loves working with animals and plants and growing great food for the community.
Joseph Melkonian was born and raised in Vermont and loves farming just as much as Gabriel. He loves good food and realized at an early age that the best food is homegrown. After years of conservation work and tending to small gardens it was just a matter of time until he made farming his full-time job. Now you can find him turning over soil, putting up fences, washing veggies, and many other farm chores!
Our Farm
In the summer of 2020 we acquired 12 acres of beautiful land in Braintree and our farming dreams started to come to fruition! We established fruit trees, berry bushes, and a small garden plot. We currently have a couple of greenhouses and grow fruits and vegetables on one half acre. We also have a flock of laying hens for eggs, and we raise chickens and pigs for meat as well.
We use all-natural growing methods and never use any synthetic chemical herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers.
We rotate our crops and livestock throughout the property to make the soil healthier. For example, we plant beans on each side of a corn row because the beans bring a lot of nitrogen into the soil that the corn loves! We also mix flowers throughout to benefit the pollinators and help with pests.
We invite you to try our produce and enjoy a delicious meal! Find us at the Randolph or Northfield farmers market or join our summer CSA program.
